Amy Young, CPNP

Amy Young is a Board Certified nurse practitioner from Portland, Oregon, with a long history of caring for children and their families. She completed her Nursing training at OHSU in 1987 and later earned her Nurse Practitioner in 1997.

Amy chose to work in pediatrics because she finds it a great privilege to develop relationships with families and help their children grow up healthy and strong. She loves that kids are funny and bright, and it's a joy for her to see them grow from babies into independent young adults.

Her care philosophy is all about creating a nurturing environment for families. Amy believes that children's health and wellness are best served by addressing both their medical and developmental needs while recognizing their unique personalities and emotions. She genuinely loves working with children of all ages and strives to make each visit enjoyable, empowering them to take an active role in their healthcare journey.

In her free time, Amy enjoys hiking, gardening, scuba diving, traveling, and reading.
