APPOINTMENTS

To schedule an appointment, please call us at 503-491-0714. For your first visit, plan to arrive fifteen minutes early to complete the registration process. At each appointment please be prepared to show your insurance card. We have a variety of appointment times available during the week, including evening appointments and we are open on Saturdays.

Please call us if you have any registration updates such as an insurance or address change and if your child has any additional healthcare needs. Our medical receptionists are here to meet your scheduling needs.

Should you need medical attention after office hours, our doctors are always available by phone when we are closed. Our medical answering service will take your call and notify our on-call provider who will return your call. The number to call after hours is 503-963-6110. Of course, in the case of a life-threatening illness or emergency, dial 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

BILLING

Calcagno Pediatrics contracts with most major health insurances. We bill all primary and secondary health insurances on your behalf. If there is a balance due after your insurance has reimbursed their portion or if your insurance is not covering a specified service provided by us, you are ultimately responsible for any monies due to Calcagno Pediatrics. Be sure to review your health plan’s member benefit package for a list of preferred providers and services covered by your plan. Be aware that eligibility for benefits does not guarantee payment by your insurance carrier. Please be prepared to present your current insurance card at each office visit. Uninsured patients (private pay) are required to pay at the time of service. As a courtesy, we provide a discount to all private pay patients.
