Dr. Katherine Swearingin, MD

Dr. Katy Swearingin is a Board-Certified pediatrician from Corvallis, Oregon. She became a doctor in 2011 when she finished her studies at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. From 2011 to 2014, she did more training at Case Western Reserve University/Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital to complete her residency.

Dr. Swearingin and her husband always wanted to come back to Oregon after they finished their schooling. With family ties in the area and a deep affection for the Pacific Northwest, the decision to settle here was an easy one.

Dr. Swearingin enjoys watching babies grow and coming to her for check-ups as they get bigger, go to school, and become their own unique individuals.

Besides being a doctor, she's also a mom to three young kids. She thinks being a mom makes her a better pediatrician because she understands what parents go through. She can reassure them with her own experiences. In her free time, she loves baking and decorating cakes. She also enjoys playing the piano and making beautiful music.
